What the Plan Includes

1. Spring startup

We bring the system back online slowly so nothing is shocked by full pressure, then run every zone. Heads are straightened and adjusted, clogged nozzles are cleared, the backflow preventer is checked for freeze damage, and the controller is programmed for the season. 2. Mid-season checkup

By July, heads have been hit by mowers, plants have grown into spray patterns, and the spring schedule no longer fits the weather. We walk every zone, correct coverage, look for leaks, and reset run times for summer heat.

3. Fall winterization

Every zone is blown out with a commercial compressor and cycled two to three times, the backflow preventer is drained, and the controller is shut down. See the winterization and blow-out service page.

Where a home falls in the range depends on zone count. Systems with more than 12 zones, well-fed systems, and commercial properties are quoted individually.

• Priority scheduling. Plan customers are placed on the calendar first in April and again in October, when everyone else is calling at once.
• You do not have to remember. We contact you when each visit is due. The most common reason a system freezes is that the call simply did not get made.
• Problems are caught three times a year. A weeping valve found in July is a small repair. The same valve found after a winter of holding water is a bigger one.
• The same people each visit. We get to know the system, including where the valves are buried and which zone always gives trouble.
• A predictable cost. One number for the year that is lower than booking the visits one at a time.

What Is Not Included

The plan covers the three service visits. Parts and repair labor are quoted separately, and nothing is replaced without your approval. Small adjustments made during a visit, such as straightening a head or clearing a nozzle, are part of the service.

Yes. Many customers begin with the winterization visit and the plan carries through the next spring and summer.

Do I have to be home for each visit?
Not usually, as long as we can reach the shutoff and the controller. We will let you know before we come.

Is it worth it for a small yard?
